There are lots of reasons why juniors and adult players join our club, our indoor courts, our outdoor clay and hardcourts, but the main reason is they love to play tennis. Some for social aspects and meeting new people, and others for the more physical reasons, or simply for the competition. We strive to ensure that all are provided with the platform to develop their own game to the level that they want, whilst maintaining the enjoyment of the game as well. We also pride ourselves on our clubhouse and the lovely friendly atmosphere it presents and the wonderful people that are the heart of our club.
We've got a variety of great tennis programmes for you to try out ranging from sessions for children with Mini Tennis through to juniors and a wide selection of adult coaching classes. All of our tennis programmes are delivered by licensed LTA coaches. We also have a weekly free session open to all ages and abilities run in conjunction with the Tennis For Free charity. Contact us for more details. Between specially designed cardio classes, technical development sessions, as well as social play and tournaments, there is something that ticks the boxes for every player.
A competitive player in his youth, training and competing in countries such as Spain and America, our Head Coach has since been managing clubs and academies across the UK for the last 10 years. He is a Level 4 LTA Qualified Coach, and is also a certified member of the British Tennis Coaches Association. He has also qualified as an Academy Coach with BTCA at the Elite Academy in Barcelona where he worked with some of the top junior players in the world.
Working under our Head Coach, we have a team of coaches that help maintain and manage our extensive coaching programme. All of our coaches are appropriately qualified, DBS checked and fully insured. As our coaches have all come from a different tennis playing and coaching background, they may use slightly different styles when coaching, and whilst all sessions are run through our Head coach, we believe this variation creates an excitement and ever changing atmosphere for beginners, intimidate and advanced players to develop their game.
